We offer for your consideration this highly collectible xx inch Antique Pocket Level Marked - Manufactured by L. L. Davis Springfield, Mass. Circa 1867 to 1875. This is a japanned Iron Square Body Pocket Level with a brass top plate and acorn shaped Decorative Finials. These levels came in at least four lengths. The Davis Level went through a number changes through the years. They are scarce and hard to find in good condition. The use of the name L L Davis does tell us the dating on this level which is 1867 to 1875 because the company labeled their levels "Davis Patent" after 1875.
